British born jewelry designer Alan Faye is both a curator of beauty and a magician for his clients.  While a student at NYC’s Parsons School of Design Alan started his career in fashion as a clothing designer and found himself immersed in the heady and electric world of New York’s downtown music and art scene of the mid-80’s. Basquiat, Keith Haring and Blondie.

After graduating from Parsons, Alan planned to continue his career in high fashion in Milan. He made what he thought would a brief stop in Paris to visit a friend but never left. He stayed in Paris for 14 years, beginning his long career as a jewelry designer.

As a child and art school student, Alan loved to sculpt. Creating jewelry gave him the chance to use his sculpting skills, design sense and keen eye to create beautiful things that have a physicality beyond just visual beauty. He found his calling. While in Paris he started his own collection and created pieces for the collections of Issey Miyake, Hugo Boss and Cartier as well as custom pieces for celebrity clients including Kenzo and Janet Jackson.

Alan’s quest has taken him through the looking glass and around the world - his playground and his source of inspiration. After moving to Los Angeles seeking sunshine, Alan launched his line of fine jewelry. His designs are conjured out of the depths of his experiences with people, places, art and cultures and seasoned with his unique sense of grace and whimsy. He doesn’t follow trends or fashion - he creates hoping that his pieces will become a part of the wearer’s life. “My jewelry isn’t meant to be fashion. It’s meant to be timeless - to become a part of the self expression of the wearer.”
